JÜRGEN KRAUSS, MD

Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer, Board Member

Jürgen is a hematologist, oncologist, and expert on antibody engineering and early clinical trial development. He is co-founder of VANUDIS and coordinates the development programs as CEO/CMO of the company.
  
Jürgen brings in more than two decades of experience in the development and conduction of early clinical immunotherapy trials across multiple cancer indications. As co-founder and Medical Expert of Heidelberg ImmunoTherapeutics he was leading the company’s first asset into its clinical translation. Before entering the biotechnology industry, he was Head of the Section for Clinical Immunotherapy at the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Heidelberg.
  
Jürgen holds a professorship for Internal Medicine at the University of Heidelberg and in his more than 25 years spanning academic career has successfully developed several proprietary antibody-based immunotherapeutics for cancer therapy and infectious diseases up to the late preclinical and early clinical stage.
