Rudolf is co-founder of VANUDIS and a biologist with strong background in molecular immunology, immuno-oncology, synthetic biology, and development of antibody-based immunotherapeutics.
He is responsible for managing VANUDIS´ research and development portfolio. Rudolf’s recent discoveries on engineering and improving signaling functions in CAR modified immune cells has provided the basis for the Cell Therapeutics program of VANUDIS. Previously, he was Scientific Director at Heidelberg ImmunoTherapeutics where he contributed to the drug discovery and development program of the company.
Prior to that, Rudolf held research positions at renowned academic institutions including the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and at the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) in Heidelberg, the University of Ulm and the Max-Planck-Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics in Freiburg.
